I’ve finally made it out of the busiest time of my life and so I’m now back to getting stuff done! Today I’m sharing another iteration of the books I’ve read recently; these were read between June and July.
A ton of these books were on my 2018 GoodReads winners list, so I’m stoked to have them crossed off. I’ve also found a few new favorites of my own this time around; read on to find out what!

I’m finally back with my long overdue recent books post! Between March and June, I did a terrible job at doing any sort of reading, and I’m currently very behind in my book goals. Still, life has been super exciting and so I can’t be mad about missing out a little on reading! However, I’m going to make it a bigger priority moving forward because I love to do it and I have so many books to read still and move off of my shelf.

I’ve decided that instead of doing a monthly wrap up or TBR, I would rather just share my thoughts on the books I’ve read as I finish them, especially because I have spurts of reading a lot and then not reading at all, and so some months may have 1 book read while others have 5. This will just help balance everything a little better!

Every year I make it a point to pick out some things I want to do, books I want to read, shows I want to watch, etc. Today, I wanted to share the 19 books that I plan on reading this year!
A few of them are rereads that I’ve been wanting to do for a while, while some are from authors that I enjoyed and want to check more out from. A lot of them are books that I’ve heard so much about in the book community that I want to finally read! I’ve been on GoodReads for almost 5 years now, and some books on this list have been on my TBR for just as long – that’s wild.

August is definitely the month of NetGalley. I have 3 ARC’s I want to read that release this month, which is super exciting!
I also didn’t finish 5 books in July, which means they’re being moved forward to this month. Here’s July’s TBR in case you were curious, as I’m not going to say much about them this month!

Today I wanted to share with you 8 different ways that I get my books either for free or for really cheap. If you’re a book lover, you know how hard it is to fund your love of books; they’re expensive! Any easy way to get a book for less than full price is a win in my book.
Some of them may be more or less relevant to you, depending on how well you fit into the criteria, but I can almost guarantee that you’ll find yourself able to do at least one of these!
April is over, and with it goes the snow (finally!) and my last month as an undergraduate student. It’s a little crazy to me how quickly time has gone; what do I do with myself once I graduate?!
