Monthly Favorites | September 2019

Hello friends!

September was a very tech-heavy, busy month for me!  I have a ton of new favorites to share with you all – plus, my biggest accomplishment to date of starting my own Podcast!  I also heard some great music & watched some exciting videos; hopefully you all enjoy like I did!

Podcasts:

What's New Around the Barn

What’s New Around the Barn?: Obviously one of my favorites for September is the brand new Podcast that I launched!  It’s a horsey podcast and the first episode is all about me and my horse experiences.  I’m beyond proud of this Podcast so I’m going to talk about it for basically the rest of my life!

“Horse Stories with Our Listeners Part 2, Sept. 25, 2019 by Horseloverz” Horses in the Morning: Not only did I launch my first podcast episode, I was also on one of my absolute favorite podcasts as a guest – Horses in the Morning! I got to share my experiences and play a little game with Jamie and Glenn and couldn’t have had a better time!

“I Got Cheated on at Church Camp (& other bad dating stories)” Sierra Unfiltered: I think that you can tell by the title, this episode definitely had some funny stories!  I was laughing out loud and cringing along with Skylar and Sierra as they shared their embarrassing dating tales, and I would highly recommend listening if you need a quick pick-me-up!

Videos:

I Got a Japanese Lolita Fashion Makeover: Safiya Nygaard is one of my favorite YouTubers, so I could easily add every video of hers onto these lists but I do try to only pick the really good ones.  This is a must watch!  I learned a ton about Lolita fashion and really enjoy Rin and Safiya together.  The fashion was beautiful as well – so definitely be sure to check this video out!

Music:

Toto – Africa (ACAPELLA): This video combines two favorites of mine – a capella music, and the song Africa.  I’ve been on the hunt for a good cover of Africa, and this is it – listen and enjoy!

lilypichu – song of storms – 1 hour Kakariko Village Chillin View: I’ve never made it a secret that I love video games, and as a child the Legend of Zelda games were a staple to me.  Even if you’re not a video game person, I found this music to be extremely relaxing and just gave me such good energy – put it on when you need to relax, and watch that windmill turn, and I’m sure you’ll be able to kick back!

What did you love in September?
